Espresso Theme for bbPress
Building themes for bbPress isn’t always fun. I know, I’ve done it before. But with the right base theme, and some basic instructions, you shouldn’t have a hard time fitting bbPress into your own design. At least, that’s the idea.
In at attempt to make it easier for myself in the future, and perhaps for others to benefit from some of the work I put into it, I’ve put together Espresso Theme, my own attempt at simplifying the process of customizing a bbPress theme.

Features of Espresso Theme
bbPress hasn’t developed to the point that WordPress has, so things like theme options pages and child themes aren’t quite possible yet. You are going to have to actually modify the theme itself, up until the point that we can take advantage of some of these things.
